It looks as though construction is well underway for the new “Hollywood” Casino in Perryville, Maryland. It was originally thought that gaming would not be ready in Cecil County until sometime in 2011. However, construction estimates put a “possible” opening date sometime toward the end of 2010.
The parking area looks to be several times the size of the building itself. It certainly does look convenient to Interstate 95. Maybe all those buses headin to Delaware will be making shorter trips from Baltimore. Unless, of course, table gaming in Delaware attracts patrons - that may just bypass Perryville…
